Ken Fellman Selected as Littleton City Attorney

DENVER (June 18, 2013) – Ken Fellman of the Denver-based law firm Kissinger & Fellman P.C. has been selected to serve as the city attorney for the City of Littleton.

Fellman’s practice emphasizes local government representation, particularly general local government, telecommunications and utilities law. In his general municipal government practice, he has served as
counsel in multiple jurisdictions (cities, towns and counties) in Colorado.

“I am excited to begin working with the Littleton City Council and Littleton staff on matters that will help further the city’s reputation as one of the best places in Colorado to live and work,” Fellman said.

Fellman was elected to the Arvada City Council in 1993 and served until 1999. He was subsequently elected and served as mayor until 2007. Fellman is an adjunct professor at the University Of Colorado College Of Law where he teaches telecommunications law and policy.

“Ken brings a wealth of knowledge to this job and will be a valuable addition to the City Attorney’s office.” said Littleton City Manager Michael Penny. “We welcome him to the position, and we look forward to working with him.”

Fellman will attend all regular and special meetings of the Littleton City Council and will provide additional legal services as directed by the council. Assistant City Attorney Kristin Schledorn, Legal Administrator Becky Phye, and Prosecutor’s Legal Administrator Debbie Patton will continue to
