Fellman Honored for Work as ‘Government Attorney’

DENVER (Nov. 4, 2013) Ken Fellman of Kissinger & Fellman P.C. has received distinction as the “Best Barrister” in the field of government law, as determined recently by the top weekly publication serving Colorado’s legal and judicial industries.

Fellman represents local governments nationwide in telecommunications law, community broadband deployment, cable television and utilities law.

Fellman is past-president of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors, a group representing the interests of the nation’s local governments in communications matters. He has been appointed by Colorado Governors Bill Ritter and John Hickenlooper to the Colorado Channel Authority; and he is a former mayor (1999-2007) and city council member (1993-1999) of Arvada, Colo. In 2011, he was appointed by the Federal Communication Commission to serve on its Intergovernmental Advisory Committee.

The commendation by Law Week Colorado also noted that he serves as the attorney for the City of Littleton; and he is an adjunct professor teaching Telecommunications Law and Policy at the University of Colorado Law School.

He has written for Journal of Municipal Telecommunications Policy, The Colorado Lawyer, Wireless Week Magazine, and others.

Fellman graduated from the University Of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.
