Arvada Press – Former Arvada Mayor Ken Fellman was hired as special outside counsel for the Public Utilities Commission for the Gold Line project. Fellman will work with a city staff attorney on the project.
Fellman, who served as mayor of Arvada from 1999 to 2007, is vice president of Kissinger & Fellman, P.C., a Denver-based law firm.
City Attorney Chris Daly came to City Council May 21 to recommend Fellman for the position because of his experience. City Council unanimously approved the appointment with no debate.
