Fellman to Speak on Telecommunications Panel for National Audience

Ken Fellman of Kissinger & Fellman P.C. will participate March 12 in the National League of Cities panel discussion on the topic of local governments’ interest in telecommunications technologies and strategies. The panel is part of the NLC’s Congressional City Conference in Washington, D.C.

As mayor of Arvada, Colo., and attorney for the Greater Metro Telecommunications Consortium in metropolitan Denver, Fellman has spent years analyzing and advocating upon the issues that pertain to local government interests in communications, including community broadband networks, franchising and public safety communications. He is an expert in the field of local government communications policies; and he will address the latest Federal Communications Commission and state legislative developments during the Congressional City Conference.

Fellman was awarded the President’s Special Recognition from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors last year; and he was NATOA’s Member of the Year in 1998. He has had previous speaking engagements at many venues, including the U.S. Conference of Mayors and the National Cable & Telecommunications Conference; and he has represented local government interests in testimony before Congress and the Colorado General Assembly.
